FAA eFAST Moa – Electronic Faa Accelerated and Simplified Master Ordering Agreement

The preferred small business MOA to streamline acquisition of technical, engineering, and professional services for the FAA. STI was awarded their eFAST MOA in September of 2011, and since then, the Electronic Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Accelerated and Simplified Tasks (eFAST) has served as the FAA’s preferred contracting vehicle for small business contracts, operating as a multi-year, multiple award Master Ordering Agreement (MOA). This platform is designed to deliver a wide array of solutions across various functional areas to FAA customers. STI currently holds contracts in three key Functional Areas:

Air Transportation Support (ATS): This area encompasses services like architectural design, electrical and wiring, environmental remediation, and extends to specific fields such as biological, chemical, energy, hydrology, physics, radio, safety, security, and weather forecasting. It’s critical for maintaining and enhancing the infrastructure and operational support of air transportation systems.

Research & Development (R&D): STI’s involvement here allows for advancements in both physical and life sciences, covering disciplines from astronomy to oceanography, including computer science, ecology, environmental studies, geology, mathematics, meteorology, physics, statistics, theoretical modeling, and operations research. This functional area fosters innovation and new methodologies in scientific research for the FAA.

Engineering Services (ES): This domain includes a broad spectrum of engineering disciplines such as systems engineering, system analysis, specialty engineering, system security, hardware and software engineering, configuration management, quality assurance, and testing. It also spans acoustical, aeronautics, aerospace, astrophysics, chemical, civil, combustion, communications, construction, electrical, environmental, erosion control, geological, geophysical, heating, human factors, hydraulics, industrial, logistics, manufacturing, marine, mechanical, nuclear, operations research, and the development of training materials. Additionally, it covers air traffic operations and safety system analysis, design, and development.

This contract enables STI to perform work at all levels of classification and access at the Task Order (TO) level, based on the specific requirements of stakeholders within these functional areas. This flexibility ensures that STI can adapt to the diverse and often stringent demands of government projects, upholding the highest standards of confidentiality, integrity, and efficiency. This eFAST award underscores STI’s commitment to delivering innovative, mission-critical services tailored to the unique needs of the FAA.
