IVM®

Inventory Visibility Management™ (IVM®) is a middleware product that is a new class of software that facilitates data and information communication between automatic identification physical layer and enterprise applications. It provides a distributed environment coupled with a powerful database to process the data read from Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags or barcodes, translates the data where necessary, and routes it to a variety of backend applications using suitable technologies such as Web, Remote and Windows Services.

IVM® does exactly what its name implies and provides the user the capability to gain visibility to all their assets and easily manage their inventories. IVM® ties four important key elements together for tracking and auto-ordering. They are:

1. Inventories (What is available on hand and where they are located)
2. Repositories (Containers, warehouses, pallets, etc.)
3. Quantities (How many troops, vehicles, or functions can be supported for a task or mission)
4. Mission Packages or Sets (Maintaining groups of inventories used for specific missions, troops, vehicles, factions or categories)
