Subsystems supports our clients with database development, maintenance, and migration; systems testing; text information support; converting information from its native format to client specific formats; migrating data; and working on stand alone and Web-based systems. Specific work includes:

• Interlinking documents—fast, accurate retrieval and research
• Supporting I-Link that consists of:
  • 112,000 pages of text contained in 60 files
  • 98,000 jump (or hyper) links
• Enabling non-technical authors to enhance content value by adding rich markup, including structure, commentary, and different types of links
• Providing a means to add functionality such as cross references, commentary, fielded data, and topical groups
• Enabling personalized research experience—users can adapt publications to their needs without modifying source data
