Senior-Level SOA Developer, Proposal Effort
(Washington, DC)
Government consulting, no clearance required. Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration. Contract Award mid March 2010. Support the implementation of Service Oriented Architecture processes to disparate information systems.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Knowlege, skills and experience in generic information system programatic support to implement SOA to critical but dissparate air traffic management information systems.
The SOA Developer's role shall be to define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new software and service applications in support of achieving SOA requirements. This will include writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs, services and applications. The SOA Developer will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle. The Contractor shall use Government provided configuration management tools (Rational Requisite Pro and Rational Clear Quest) and processes to identify and capture all requirements changes and assure that documented requirements changes satisfy quality criteria including completeness, traceability, verifiability, correctness, consistency and clarity.
Required Experience:
15 years IT experience required. Experience with a variety of relevant standards, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Experience in the field of software development, including requirements-gathering, design, development, integration, and data migration. Leads and direct the work of others. Must exhibit fluency in first generation web services standards, technologies, and tools. Knowledge of Web service and other information standards and technologies including WS-Risk Management (RM), WS-Security, WS-Addressing, and WS-Notification. Working knowledge of SOA products, such as IBM Websphere, Oracle Application Server, Weblogic and Fusion Middleware and Fuse (Enterprise Service Bus, Services Framework, Message Broker and Mediation Router), Registry/Repository, ESM, Policy Server.
