Mid-Level SOA Developer, Proposal Effort
(Washington, DC)
Government consulting, no clearance required. Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration. Contract Award mid March 2010. Support the implementation of Service Oriented Architecture processes to disparate information systems.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Knowlege, skills and experience in generic information system programatic support to implement SOA to critical but dissparate air traffic management information systems.
The SOA Developer will support senior level to define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new software and service applications in support of achieving SOA requirements. This will include support with writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs, services and applications. The SOA Developer will provide support in research and review design, document, and software specifications throughout the production life cycle.
Required Experience:
Minimum 7 years IT experience. Knowledgeable with a variety of relevant standards, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Knowledgeable in first generation web services standards, technologies, and tools including XML, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI and BPEL. Knowledgeable in the field of software development.
