Junior Business Analyst, Proposal Effort
(Washington, DC)
Government consulting, no clearance required. Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration. Contract Award mid March 2010. Support the implementation of Service Oriented Architecture processes to disparate information systems.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Knowlege, skills and experience in generic information system programatic support to implement SOA to critical but dissparate air traffic management information systems.
The Business Analyst shall advise on and perform cost estimating, cost analysis, budgeting, scheduling, performance measurement, EVM, and/or cost research. Possesses an in-depth knowledge of the techniques, uses and content of cost analysis to accomplish the most complex of estimating or research efforts. Experience in cost & financial management, business practices, technical, cost and schedule, and business re-engineering issues. This encompasses a basic knowledge of statistical techniques, scheduling, network analysis, applied mathematics, economics, and the engineering disciplines. Defend/solve cost/risk issues, collect and perform analysis of cost and technical data.
Required Experience:
Minimum Qualification: 3 years experience required Competence in finance, budgeting, accounting, business, or business management. Prior FAA experience desired. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. A Bachelor of Science degree in Business or other related degree. Or a minimum of 7 years of experience without a degree.
