Mid-Level Engineer
(Sterling, VA)
The Drug Enforcement Agency is seeking a Mid-Level Engineer to join their team in Sterling, VA. The qualified candidate would have a minimum of 3 years performing the following duties: Define, design and develop system requirements. Perform trade-off analyses of performance, life-cycle cost, risk, producibility, and other system or program requirements. Assess architecture and current hardware limitations, define and design system specifications, and evaluate input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total system. Define system support requirements. Analyze and resolve program support deficiencies. Conduct independent technical investigations in systems design. Evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services. All applicants must have a Bachelors Degree, 3+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, experience with Windows Operating Systems (XP/2000/2003), and experience with various Open Source and COTS tool capabilities. All candidates will be required to obtain a SECRET Security Clearance and pass a Drug Enforcement Agency Background Investigation.
